STRATEGY
The campaign strategy did not revolve around leveraging celebrity reach. Instead, it focused on building an advocacy ecosystem where the right people, the right communities, and the right contexts could collectively amplify the spirit of the tournament. Rather than selecting KOLs based on follower count, the campaign prioritized individuals who were deeply connected to student life and collegiate sports, including young athletes, sports club leaders, Gen Z campus creators, student community administrators, and inspiring advocates of active lifestyles. TV360 was positioned not merely as the tournament's media partner, but as the platform connecting the competition, campus communities, and digital audiences through shared emotions. This strategic direction gave rise to a multi-layered influence model: a national layer of inspirational voices, a campus-level layer that fueled conversations within individual universities, and an organic advocacy layer driven by athletes, supporters, and participating teams themselves. At its core, the strategy sought to transform the tournament from a sporting event into a movement that students genuinely felt proud to own and voluntarily promote. Influencers were not tasked with speaking on behalf of the brand; instead, they acted as catalysts, empowering students to tell their own stories about school pride, teamwork, competitive pressure, breakthrough moments, and the honor of representing their universities. This approach laid the foundation for advocacy that was authentic, sustainable, and capable of generating genuine social impact.
INSIGHT
For university students, sports represent far more than competition or entertainment - they are a powerful expression of identity, school pride, and collective spirit. Rather than being persuaded by one-way promotional messages, students are inspired by seeing people like themselves passionately representing their universities, teammates, and love of sports. Within Gen Z culture, influence is driven less by celebrity status than by authenticity, relatability, and emotional connection. Drawing on this insight, the campaign recognized that for a university sports tournament to truly gain momentum on social media, it needed to establish a trusted circle of voices that students genuinely listened to: sports club captains, student-athletes, campus creators, student community pages, and advocates of active lifestyles. When stories were told from within the community itself, the tournament ceased to be branded content and instead became a topic students wanted to join, discuss, and proudly share. TV360 leveraged this insight to transform the behavior of simply "watching the tournament" into actively "supporting the tournament." Young audiences were interested not only in match results but also in training journeys, pre-game emotions, celebrations, and the sense of belonging to something greater than themselves. As a result, the most effective advocacy came from authentic, community-driven content that inspired the spirit of "My University - My Team - Our Generation."
CREATIVE IDEA
The campaign's central creative platform was "Lead the Game." Here, "leading" extended beyond topping the scoreboard; it represented leadership in spirit, resilience, ambition, and the ability to inspire fellow students. The campaign positioned sports as a symbol of a generation willing to step forward, express themselves, and create positive influence within their communities. Consequently, the tournament was framed as the journey of individuals and teams who did not wait for opportunities but instead created opportunities of their own. The creative execution embraced a co-created storytelling approach, allowing influencers, student-athletes, and campus communities to tell their own "Lead the Game" stories from multiple perspectives. Rather than relying on conventional promotional content, the campaign prioritized highly social, native content formats such as behind-the-scenes training journeys, team declarations before competition, breakthrough moments on the field, energetic crowd celebrations, reaction videos, match highlights, and inspirational stories centered on pushing beyond personal limits. Every piece of content reinforced the idea that anyone could "Lead the Game" in their own way - by leading through performance, energy, teamwork, or fan support. This concept positioned TV360 not simply as the tournament's streaming platform, but as the destination where the country's most inspiring student stories came together. In doing so, the campaign built a highly shareable content ecosystem that encouraged participation, co-creation, and, most importantly, reflected the true nature of advocacy: influencers sparked the movement, while students became the driving force that kept the "Lead the Game" message alive across social media.
CONNECTION PLAN
The campaign's engagement strategy followed an Omni-Influencer Web model, ensuring that every layer of influence played a distinct role throughout the communication journey. At the top tier, high-profile personalities such as emerging athletes, sports commentators, and Gen Z lifestyle and sports creators generated broad awareness, established credibility, and built initial excitement for the tournament. The second tier consisted of mid-tier creators and micro-influencers within universities, whose role was to embed the campaign naturally into campus culture and position the tournament as part of everyday student life rather than an external event. The third tier focused on organic advocates, including sports club captains, university representatives, student fan page administrators, dormitory communities, and supporter groups. This group generated the highest levels of trust and participation. The final layer consisted of spectators and participants themselves, who were activated as mass advocates through content challenges, campaign hashtags, voting activities, match predictions, check-ins, supporter videos, and interactive touchpoints across both TV360 and social media platforms. Cross-channel integration was executed seamlessly across TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and TV360 throughout every campaign phase - from teaser content and participation calls, to peak tournament excitement, and finally post-event storytelling that sustained inspiration long after the competition concluded. This holistic approach enabled the campaign not only to achieve extensive cross-platform reach but also to cultivate a multidimensional advocacy network where every individual became simultaneously an audience member, a content creator, and an advocate for the tournament.
