STRATEGY
Pursuing a 100% vegan philosophy, Cocoon commits to not using animal ingredients and not testing on animals at any stage of the product creation process. Besides, we also always promote practical activities that can bring benefits to animals. Therefore, we always strive to find and connect with reputable animal protection organizations in Vietnam, propose ideas within our capacity to them to truly bring meaningful values, directly impacting the lives and health of animals. And we are very fortunate to be connected with Animals Asia Foundation (AAF) - a prestigious organization with international influence.
Up to now, "Joining hands to rescue stray dogs and cats" is the 3rd project that we have cooperated with this organization. Thanks to the organization's remarkable achievements in Vietnam since 2007, it has greatly helped to increase the trust when we co-initiated the project.
Through creating limited editions of the Dak Lak Coffee Body Scrub (a product that everyone can use), we aim to create a simple solution for customers to join hands with Cocoon x AAF to rescue stray dogs and cats through their beauty.
In addition, we attach great importance to transparency for all animal protection projects. And the transparency of all expenses for food, medicine for dogs and cats, rabies vaccines, wheelchairs... also helps us to further strengthen the trust and support of customers for this project and attract more new customers to Cocoon because of the humanity and compassion that both sides (Cocoon - AAF) are spreading
INSIGHT
Stray dogs and cats are becoming an increasingly common problem, especially in large cities in Vietnam. We are all aware of this, but not everyone has the ability to help all of these dogs and cats. Therefore, most of what we are doing is supporting them mentally: sharing information about lost dogs and cats, providing locations for dogs and cats in need to stray dog and cat rescue centers, and fighting against the consumption of dog and cat meat...
In addition, taking advantage of many people's love for dogs and cats, many individuals have profited for themselves. Therefore, a reputable stray dog and cat rescue program that "gets things done" is something that customers really need.
Based on these two things, we launched the campaign "joining hands to rescue stray dogs and cats" to help bring practical action to customers and they will do it completely voluntarily from their own hearts. In addition, we create a stray dog and cat rescue program, transforming customer support into food, medicine, vaccines... Directly donated to dogs and cats with the support of Animals Asia
CREATIVE IDEA
Together with Cocoon and AAF, let's bring better welfare to dogs and cats from taking care of your body.
Taking care of your body is something we always do every day, and Cocoon wants to inspire animal protection for customers through the use of body exfoliating products. It both helps them beautify themselves and contributes to joining hands with Cocoon and AAF to rescue stray dogs and cats in Vietnam.
For each limited edition product in the "Joining hands to rescue stray dogs and cats" collection sold, Cocoon will donate 10,000 VND to the Animals Asia Foundation fund to carry out this campaign.
About the limited editions:
Inspired by the "super cute" of dogs and cats in real life, we transform them into cute drawings of 5 different dog breeds + 5 different cat breeds and print these drawings directly on the eye-catching packaging background of the product. Dak Lak Coffee Body Scrub 200ml. In addition, the message "Joining hands to rescue stray dogs and cats" is also embossed by us to make it easy for customers to recognize this special campaign.
We created 10 limited editions with pictures of 10 different dogs and cats to send a message to customers that all dogs/cats deserve to be loved, cared for, and live happily with their "owners". ", at the same time creating excitement for customers when choosing the limited edition they love, sometimes similar to the dogs and cats they are raising.
In addition, we also created the giftbox "joining hands to rescue stray dogs and cats" with a paper box designed in the shape of a stray dog's face and a tabby cat's face to spread and bring the campaign closer to users.
CONNECTION PLAN
Like any other animal protection campaign, we have implemented a series of articles and videos with diverse content from the problem of stray dogs and cats, announcing cooperation, introducing limited editions, calling for support, minigames... on Fanpage (more than 300k Followers), Instagram (more than 47k Followers) and Tiktok (nearly 220k followers). Thanks to this advantage, we quickly received the support of many customers nationwide. In addition, we also received enthusiastic support from our partners, the cosmetics systems, who also produced content and communicated strongly about the campaign on their social media platforms.
From December 2023 to March 2024, we created a strong wave of support for the campaign with the hashtag #cuutrochomeolangthang.
Besides, we also promote the campaign through the real stories of KOLs and KOCs who are raising dogs and cats such as: Giang oi, chang Shu Go, vitaminmeo, meo hoang dep... KOLs, KOCs about beauty and especially expand the customer base through KOLs, KOCs specializing in content marketing.
In addition, news channels and information sites such as: VTV, Vietcetera, advertising Vietnam... also help us communicate the campaign to everyone in a very effective and truthful way
OBJECTIVE-BASE KPI
It can be affirmed that the campaign "joining hands to rescue stray dogs and cats" is one of the animal protection activities that we have received the most enthusiastic support from customers. After only 15 days of opening the sale of limited editions, we sold 25,000 limited editions, corresponding to an amount of 250 million donated to the fund of Animals Asia Foundation to implement the project (KPI was set when launching the project). And in response to this support, Cocoon and AAF agreed to release an additional 25,000 copies for the next sale, bringing the campaign fund to 500 million VND.
In February 2024, Cocoon and Animals Asia implemented the first phase of the campaign: donating food and medicine to 18 dog and cat rescue stations nationwide, donating 3,500 doses of rabies vaccine for dogs and cats to Dak Lak Veterinary Department and 15 wheelchairs worth 60 million to Forever Wheelchair Rescue Station.
As of March 2024, we are still continuing to implement phase 2, opening registration for food support for dog and cat rescue stations in Vietnam, donating rabies vaccines to Gia Lai Veterinary Department and cooperating with AAF to implement the plan. free examination and sterilization for dogs and cats in 2024.
The success of the project clearly demonstrates the trust of customers in Cocoon and AAF. We are proud to help our customers become a part of the project and "turn" their hearts into very practical help for the shelter of dogs and cats in Vietnam
